The Chinese brand, QJ Motor has entered the Indian market with four motorcycles. Among the list are two retro-style products, the SRC 250 and SRC 500 that will rival the likes of the Royal Enfield Classic 350 in our market. The prices for these retro-style motorcycles range between Rs 1.99 lakh and Rs 2.79 lakh and they vary based on the model and colour options. The quarter-litre model features a single-tone finish while the higher-displacement version comes with dual-tone paint themes. Check out the complete price list below:
SRC 250 Silver: Rs 1.99 lakh
SRC 250 Red: Rs 2.10 lakh
SRC 250 Black: Rs 2.10 lakh
SRC 500 Silver Black: Rs 2.69 lakh
SRC 500 Gold Black: Rs 2.79 lakh
SRC 500 Red White: Rs 2.79 lakh
The SRC 250 is powered by a 249cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that produces 17.4bhp and 17Nm of peak torque. In comparison, the SRC 500 uses a 480cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor that makes 25.5bhp and 36Nm of peak torque. Both motorcycles use telescopic front forks and twin-sided rear springs to handle the suspension tasks. Further, the braking setup on both models includes disc brakes and a dual-channel ABS. However, the SRC 500 uses a marginally larger diameter for the front disc and it rides on alloy wheels.
The bookings for these motorcycles have commenced at Moto Vault dealerships. Interested buyers can reserve a unit for a booking amount of Rs 10,000. Apart from the Royal Enfield Classic 350, these motorcycles will face competition from the likes of Honda Hness CB350 and the Jawa range of products. Do note that the SRC 500 retails in a near-similar price range as the entry-level variant of the 650cc, twin-cylinder-powered Royal Enfield Interceptor 650.
