- Likely to be powered by an inline four-cylinder engine
- Could be launched overseas in the coming months
- Type approval document leaked in China
QJ Motor is set to launch its upcoming middleweight offering in the third quarter of 2023. The bike will likely be dubbed as the SRK 800RR and its image has been leaked from a type approval document in China.
The QJ Motor SRK 800RR looks similar to the brand’s previous lineup offered in the overseas market. Thus, the split LED headlight with the transparent visor, clip-on handles, wide fuel tank, split seat, and sharp side panels with appendages are all similar. With these, the SRK 800RR looks extremely sporty and youth-oriented.
The leaked type approval document also reveals that an inline four-cylinder motor will power the SRK 800RR. Its layout appears similar to that of the Honda CB650R’s motor and even the bore value is the same. However, the stroke for the SRK 800RR is slightly longer and adds to the overall capacity of 778cc.
As per the leaked information, QJ Motor is likely to equip the bike with USD front forks from Marzocchi and a monoshock at the rear. The braking hardware will include dual front discs and a single rear unit from Brembo.
Apart from China, QJ Motor is also expanding its network in the USA. While the brand has also entered India, the chances of it bringing its bigger bikes here are bleak.
