- QJ SRK 400RR unveiled at Auto Expo
- India launch not confirmed yet
- Naked version is already on sale in India
China-based QJ Motor entered India in November last year with a couple of interesting motorcycles. The company is also present at the ongoing Auto Expo with bikes that are already launched in India along with those yet to come. Belonging to the latter category is the QJ SRK 400RR which, if comes to India, will go head-on against the likes of the KTM RC 390 and the Kawasaki Ninja 300.
The SRK 400 looks quite aggressive with an angry front fascia comprising a dual LED headlamp surrounded by a sharp cowl. The side fairing boasts angular lines and blends neatly with the sculpted fuel tank and an upswept tail section. This is complemented by modern features like full-LED lighting, a colour TFT console, and dual-channel ABS.
Powering the SRK 400RR is a 400cc, parallel twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 40.9bhp of peak power at 9,000rpm and 37Nm of torque at 7,500rpm. With a 14-litre fuel tank, the kerb weight of the motorcycle stands at 191kg which is quite heavy. For reference, KTM RC 390 tips the scales at 172kg. As for the hardware, the bike incorporates some premium components like upside-down forks, an aluminium swingarm, and a single disc up front with radially-mounted calipers.
Although the SRK 400RR isn’t yet available in India, QJ Motor sells its naked street bike version, the SRK 400 on our shores. The prices of the motorcycle start from Rs 3.59 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
