Rajini Krishnan to compete in China Superbike Championship

Acclaimed Indian motorcycle racer Rajini Krishnan will be competing in the stock category of the China Superbike Championship, this month. Rajini would be continuing his association with Kawasaki racing for this round, which will be conducted on June 17, 18 and 19.

Rajini has several national and international accolades under his belt and is widely regarded as the country’s most accomplished track racer. Last year, Rajini made a mark in the global arena by winning the premier class of the 1000cc Superbike A category, trumping the likes of Cameron Donald, Steve Martin and Leonardo Sacchetto. He also came in first in the inaugural Pirelli Malaysia Superbike Championship at the Sepang International Circuit, Kuala Lumpur. Apart from racing professionally, Rajini also helps budding racers with his Rajini Academy of Competitive Racing. He is also the mentor for the 10th Edition of Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup in India.

This year, Rajini will race for Kawasaki racing in both Malaysia and China. Rajini is currently testing for his team astride the 2016 Kawasaki ZX-10R at the Zhuhai International Circuit (ZIC) in China.
