Regal Raptor has made its foray into the Indian market with the launch of three new motorcycles. These models were launched during the inauguration of the American motorcycle manufacturer’s first dealership in the country, which is located in Hyderabad.
With the launch of the three cruisers – Cruiser 350, Bobber 350 and Daytona 350, Regal Raptors has now started accepting bookings for a token of Rs 50,000. All three motorcycles are powered by a 320cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine, which delivers 23bhp and 22Nm of torque through a five-speed gearbox.
Earlier this year, Regal Raptor announced its tie-up with a Hyderabad-based automotive business group, called FAB Motors (Fabulous and Beyond Motors India) to facilitate its operations in India. FAB Motors will be responsible for manufacturing and distribution of Regal Raptor motorcycles in India as well as eight other global markets.
While announcing their partnership with FAB Motors, the company had also announced its plans of setting up a new plant in Telangana, with an investment of Rs 1,000 crore, over the next four years. For now, the motorcycles sold in India will be locally assembled from imported completely knocked down (CKD) units, in Hyderabad.
