- Based on Kawasaki W800
- Gets Meguro branding on the fuel tank
- Only available in Japan
Kawasaki has revealed its retro-style motorcycle, the Meguro K3 for the Japanese market. The new Meguro K3 is based on the Kawasaki’s W800, although the former comes with a few styling tweaks.
The Meguro K3 receives a Meguro badge on the fuel tank along with hand-painted white pinstripes. The retro-looks are emphasised by a round shape for the headlight and the turn indicators, a tear-drop design for the fuel tank, wire-spoke wheels, and loads of chrome all-around.
The motorcycle is powered by the same 773cc, parallel-twin engine that is also available on the Kawasaki W800. The power and torque output figures, too, are similar to the ones on the W800 and the Meguro K3 draws 50.2 bhp and 62.9 Nm from the air-cooled motor
The cycle parts, similar to the Kawasaki W800, include telescopic forks at the front and twin-sided springs at the back to perform the shock absorption tasks. The anchoring setup includes disc brakes on both wheels.
The Meguro K3 is only available in the Japanese market and it is unlikely to arrive on the Indian shores.
