- Released a teaser image at the RV400 launch event
- Expected to come with similar hardware and features as the RV400
- To be launched next year
Revolt Motors has commenced its innings in India as it launched the RV300 and RV400 electric motorcycles in the country. At the same launch event, the company has also confirmed that its next offering will be a café racer-styled electric motorcycle.
Releasing a teaser image, Revolt gave us a glimpse of the aesthetics of its upcoming offering. Following a classic café racer theme, the electric bike sports a round headlamp along with a clip-on handlebar. It boasts of a sculpted fuel tank-like panel accompanied by sharp extensions which lend it a muscular appeal. Sitting on the bolted on sub-frame is a single-piece seat with ribbed cushioning while completing the design is a svelte floating tail section with LED tail lamp.
Besides a brief look of the design, the bikemaker hasn’t disclosed any further details. However, we expect this electric café racer to come equipped with similar hardware as the RV400. It is likely to be powered by a 3kW lithium-ion battery and ride on a 3kW motor which is capable of producing 5kW of power and 170Nm of torque. In terms of cycle parts, the teaser image reveals it will be equipped with upside down forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Furthermore, expect it to be as modern as the RV400 in terms of features with a fully-digital instrument cluster, full-LED lighting and other gizmos.
Revolt will be launching this café-racer styled electric motorcycle sometime next year. Expect this product to be priced at a premium over the RV400 premium variant. The Revolt models are available with a unique EMI plan and you can read about that in our launch story here. Bookings for the bikes will commence on 29 August while deliveries are set to commence from September.
