- Features twin-sided exhaust setup
- Gets a pillion backrest
- Launch details yet to be announced
The upcoming Royal Enfield 650cc cruiser was spotted once again, and this time the spy photographs reveal the rear of the motorcycle. The new 650cc cruiser, similar to the company’s existing models, the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650, will feature a twin-sided exhaust setup. However, unlike the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650, the cruiser will not feature an upswept design for the exhaust. The new spy photograph also reveals the pillion backrest.
Previously, the motorcycle was spied with the optional accessories. The list of optional extras that were seen through the spy photographs includes an aftermarket windscreen and crash bars. The middleweight cruiser will pack hardware such as upside-down front forks, twin-sided springs at the back, single discs on both wheels, and dual-channel ABS. Royal Enfield may also add its new Tripper navigation system to the motorcycle.
Mechanical specifications would be similar to the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650. Thus, the upcoming cruise will use a 648cc, twin-cylinder motor. The engine is tuned to produce 47bhp and 52Nm on the existing 650 Twins.
