- Royal Enfield Hunter 350 spotted testing again
- Spy video comprises exhaust note
- Official launch expected by late 2022
Royal Enfield’s upcoming motorcycle, the Hunter 350, was spotted testing once again in India. Interestingly, the latest spy video not only shows the rear section of the motorcycle but one can also hear the exhaust note of the Hunter 350.
The upcoming Hunter 350 sounds noticeably different from the existing Classic 350 and the Meteor 350 as it emanates a sportier and raspier sound. This could be a hint that its engine character too will be different from its existing stablemates. As for the visual details decipherable from the video, it boasts a round tail lamp flanked by circular turn indicators, a pillion backrest, and a raised tail with a chopped fender. Similar to the previously spotted test mules, this too incorporated blacked-out components all across.
Other details that we already know, thanks to its multiple spy pictures, are that it rides on alloy wheels suspended by telescopic forks and the braking setup includes a single disc at both ends, perhaps with dual-channel ABS. Powering the Hunter 350 will likely be the same 349cc, single-cylinder engine that does duty on the Meteor 350, producing 20.2bhp and 27Nm mated to a five-speed gearbox.
The precise launch timeline of the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is not known yet but it’s expected to officially debut by the end of this year.
