- Chennai SVCs get dry wash system
- Will save 18 lakh litres of water each month
Royal Enfield has introduced dry wash system across 20 service centres in Chennai. Through this effort, the company would save close to 18 lakh litres of water every month.
Over the last few days, Chennai has been facing water shortage and that has affected the day to day operations of the city and its residents. While this move by Royal Enfield might look quite small in terms of numbers, it will definitely motivate other brands to follow them. This will directly help Chennai save millions of litres of water every month.
Dry wash system uses less water without compromising on wash quality and also decreases the servicing time per vehicle. Chennai is part of the company’s pilot project. The company also plans to switch to this water system in the rest of the cities in Tamil Nadu.
