- Based on the recently launched 450NK
- Launched in China
- Powered by a 449cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled motor
CFMoto has taken the wraps off its latest motorcycle offering, the 450CL-C. It’s a thoroughbred cruiser but borrows quite a few elements from the recently launched streetfighter, the CFMoto 450NK. Let’s see what the 450CL-C offers.
The new CFMoto 450CL-C gets a proper low-stance, owing to its cruiser design. It features a round headlight, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, and a split-seat setup. It also gets a set of dual-port exhausts that add a fair bit of mass to the 450CL-C’s proportions and a wide and flat handlebar with bar-end mirrors.
Powering the new 450CL-C is a 449cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled motor that dishes out 40bhp and 42Nm. It’s linked to a six-speed gearbox. However, as opposed to the conventional chain-drive setup, CFMoto has equipped the 450CL-C with a belt drive. It rides on 37mm USD front forks and a monoshock. Meanwhile, the braking hardware comprises a 320mm front and 220mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS. Apart from LED illumination, the 450CL-C also gets traction control, fully digital console, and smartphone connectivity.
CFMoto has introduced the 450CL-C in China first. It could later expand to other markets as well. However, going by the brand’s current sales figures in India, it’s unlikely that the new Chinese cruiser would be launched here. However, if you are looking for a cruiser in this segment, then the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 could make for a commendable choice.
