Royal Enfield registers Shotgun brand for its upcoming motorcycle

- New brand application filed

- Shotgun likely to be the name of a motorcycle

Royal Enfield has applied to register a new brand that goes by the name ‘Shotgun’. This application was filed about a week ago.

As of now, there are no information about the usage of this name. But there’s a high chance of the name being used for an upcoming motorcycle. The Chennai-based manufacturer has registered quite a few names in the last few months – Hunter, Sherpa, Roadster, Flying Flea. Some of these names are likely to be written on the motorcycles. However, the timeline for that is yet to be ascertained.

We believe Royal Enfield is getting ready for some serious motorcycles onslaught. After the Meteor 350, the company went on to launch some facelift motorcycles. But we are expecting the brand to go aggressive with the launches in the next few months.
