- Domestic sales fell by 20 per cent
- Exports witnessed 55 per cent growth

Royal Enfield has announced its sales data for February 2022. The Chennai-based two-wheeler maker sold 59,160 motorcycles in February 2022 against 69,659 units during the corresponding month last year, registering a decline of 15 per cent.
The company said in its press announcement that the supply chain constraints due to the shortage of semiconductor chips continued to persist during the month. Royal Enfield further added that it is working with its supplier ecosystem to resolve the issue. The company continued its recovery in the domestic market and posted an improvement over January 2022.
Royal Enfield’s international sales continued the upward trajectory. The company registered a growth of 55 per cent in exports over February 2021. The domestic sales fell by 20 per cent, declining from 65,114 units in February 2021 to 52,135 units in February 2022.
The company currently concluded the inaugural season of its Royal Enfield Continental GT Cup. Royal Enfield plans to launch track schools in India this year. The two-wheeler maker aims to provide a stepping stone for racing aspirants to learn and develop their skills.
