- Domestic sales fell by 18 per cent

Royal Enfield has reported its sales data for August 2021. The company sold 45,860 units in the domestic and international markets in August 2021 as against 50,144 units during the corresponding month last year, registering a decline of nine per cent.
The domestic sales fell by 18 per cent, declining from 47,571 in August 2020 as against 39,070 units in August this year. The exports, however, witnessed a growth of 164 per cent. Royal Enfield exported 6,790 units last month as compared to 2,573 units in August 2020. While the year-on-year sales saw negative numbers, the overall year-to-date figure witnessed a 45 per cent growth. The year-to-date figures in the domestic and export markets grew by 30 per cent and 317 per cent, respectively.
