- Gets asymmetrically-mounted instrument cluster
- Wire-spoke wheels shod in Pirelli-sourced tyres
- Indian launch details unavailable yet
The Royal EnfieldScrambler has shown itself once again and this time the spy images have captured this upcoming motorcycle’s instrument cluster.
As seen in the newest spy photographs, this 650cc scrambler-style motorcycle will get a Super Meteor 650-style console that will comprise an asymmetrically-mounted instrument cluster. This will feature a semi-digital layout and come equipped with an analogue speedometer with an LCD in the centre. The Tripper Navigation system was not visible but it could be introduced as an optional accessory.
This new model will be based on the Interceptor 650. However, it is likely to get many changes over the neo-retro roadster. The changes will include a taller stance with added travel suspension, upside-down forks, a two-in-one exhaust setup with a single-sided canister, and Pirelli-sourced block-pattern tyres.
The mechanical specifications would be similar to the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650. Thus, this upcoming scrambler will be powered by a 648cc, parallel-twin, air/oil-cooled engine. This motor is tuned to deliver 47bhp and 52Nm of peak torque. The launch details are not available yet but we expect it to arrive by late 2023 or early 2024.
