- SEAT Mo 50 breaks cover
- Offers 172 kilometer range
- Will not be launched in India
Spanish car manufacturer SEAT has taken the wraps off its entry-level electric scooter called the Mo 50. This is the brand’s second e-scooter since it revealed the Mo 125 at the EICMA a couple of months ago.
This electric scooter is based on the Silence S01 which is available internationally and shares most of its specs with the latter. So there is a 5.6 kWh battery and 7.3 kW peak motor that delivers around 9.7 bhp. SEAT claims that the Mo 50 can offer a range of 172 kilometres on a single charge which varies on the three modes it has. These are City, Sport and Eco as well. As for underpinnings, the SEAT Mo 50 rides on a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear and telescopic forks for the front. Meanwhile, braking is done by discs at either end.
Now, the SEAT Mo 50’s pricing hasn’t been disclosed in international markets yet. However, it is expected to go on sale in early 2023. That said, this e-scooter will not be launched in India anytime soon. Although if you are looking to buy an electric scooter, the market has the TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, Ola S1 and the Ather 450X as options.
