- Manufacturers are offering discounts to clear the inventory of BS4 vehicles
The deadline to comply with the BS6 emission norms is fixed at 31 March 2020. However, some states have already stopped the registration of the old, BS4 vehicles. Thus, Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) has applied to the Supreme Court, seeking sale and registration of BS4 vehicles till 31 March 2020.
SIAM President, Rajan Wadhera said that the cut-off dates for BS4 registration ranges from 29 February to 25 March 2020 in various states.
