Simple Energy, a Bengaluru based electric two-wheeler start-up has released some pictures and video of its upcoming electric scooter, the Mark 2.
The company claims that the Mark 2 will have a riding range of 240kms in eco mode and a top speed of 100kmph. They also claim that this e-scooter can do 0-50kmpk in 3.6 seconds. All this is possible due to a 4.8kWh lithium-ion battery and a mid-drive electric motor. The scooter is likely to have features like touchscreen instrument cluster and navigation.
Simple Energy is planning to launch this electric scooter in the next few months. In fact, it recently finalized the first phase of the factory in Whitefield in Bengaluru that has a production capacity of 50,000 units.
The production-ready model will be named something else as Mark 2 is just the name of their second prototype.
