- Two special edition motorcycles revealed at EICMA
- GSX-S GP Edition features MotoGP-inspired livery
- GSX-S SERT Edition gets red and black colours
Suzuki Motorcycles have unveiled two special-edition GSX-S1000 motorcycles at the ongoing EICMA motorcycle show 2021 in Milan, Italy. These special series models celebrate the sporting tradition of the Japanese manufacturer.
The GSX-S GP Edition features the Anniversary livery used by the official Suzuki MotoGP bikes. This version of the naked roadster motorcycle uses a combination of blue and slate gray, the colours of the Ecstar Team. The GSX-S SERT Edition, on the other hand, gets a dual-tone red and black colour scheme. This version features the livery of the GSX-R1000 of the Yoshimura Suzuki Endurance Racing Team Motul, world champion in the EWC 2021.
The changes are limited to styling upgrades in the form of special liveries. Thus, the special-edition models retain the muscular design, full-LED lighting, and a digital instrument cluster. The hardware setup continues to feature upside-down front forks, rear mono-shock, twin discs at the front, and a single rotor at the back.
The Indian launch details of the Suzuki GSX-S1000 are unavailable yet, however, we do not expect to see the model on our shores anytime soon.
