Li-ions Electrik Solutions, a Gurugram-based company has launched its first electric scooter in India called the Spock. The prices for the scooter start at Rs 65,000 and go up to Rs 1 lakh (on-road).
The Spock comes powered by a 2.9kWh battery and BLDC motor that propels the scooter to a top speed of 45kmph. It comes with two modes; Economy and Power which offer a range of 130km and 100km respectively on a single charge. The company claims that the battery can be fully charged in 4 hours. As for features, the electric scooter comes with GPS navigation, a USB charger, digital instrument cluster and an optional anti-theft alarm. And along with the two power modes, the Spock also features a reverse mode. In terms of design, the Spock looks quirky with a large conventionally-lit headlamp flanked by turn signals. Li-ions is also offering the electric scooter with features like a front basket and top-box that would make it an ideal delivery vehicle.
The Spock is available in six colour options- blue, black, white, green, red and yellow. It competes against the Ather 340 and 22Kymco iFlow in India.
