- Equipped with a front disc rear drum brake
- Features all LED illumination
- Likely to be Hero’s upcoming 125cc premium offering
A new, upcoming Hero motorcycle has been spotted testing recently, and these spy shots reveal a considerable amount of details about the test bike. We think this could be Hero’s upcoming 125cc premium motorcycle.
The spy images show that this bike gets slightly butch bodywork compared to the normal 125cc commuters. Although camouflaged, Hero seems to be inclined more towards a youthful offering with this upcoming bike. The tank appears to be wide from the top and tapers towards the seat. It even has shrouds, adding to the overall sporty character. Then there’s an LED headlight, a tail light, as well as LED turn indicators. The bike is also equipped with a split seat and is using a single-piece handlebar.
While the engine details are scarce, we expect it to be around 125cc and get a five-speed gearbox. The test mule is equipped with front telescopic forks and a rear monoshock, while the braking hardware includes a front disc and rear drum brake mounted on alloys. Apart from LED illumination, the test mule also features a fully digital console, which could be borrowed from the existing models in Hero’s lineup.
Hero has recently launched the Xtreme 160R 4V and is also working on the upcoming Karizma XMR 210. In fact, the latter’s test mule has been spotted multiple times.
