- New Varg EX enduro bike revealed
- Produces 80bhp of peak power
- Deliveries from 2025
Stark Future has expanded its electric motorcycle line-up with the unveiling of the Varg EX, an enduro motorcycle. Royal Enfield purchased a certain stake in this company last year.
The Varg EX is based on the MX version but is road-legal. It will sit above the MX and get more features, a bigger battery pack, and, as a result, a longer riding range. This dual-purpose motorcycle is meant for hard off-road use but has a practical approach on the road.
The Varg EX has a 7.2kWh battery pack and two variants. The Alpha variant produces 80bhp of peak power, whereas the lower variant makes 60bhp. This motorcycle has five riding modes, and depending on the selection, it produces power ranging between 10bhp and 80bhp.
This enduro motorcycle tips the scale at just 120kg, making it a really light motorcycle. It is built around the steel trellis frame and rides on a 21-inch front wheel and 18-inch at the back. The suspension is from Kayaba which has 300mm of travel upfront. In terms of features, the instrument cluster on the EX acts like a removable smartphone which is being called the Stark Arkenstone.
The Stark Varg EX will go on sale in Europe next year and will compete with some of the finest bikes from KTM. Sadly, the bike won’t come to India anytime soon.
