- Steelbird introduces Blauer HT helmets at Rs 9,999
- Certified by European standards ‘ECE 22.05’
- To be manufactured at Steelbird’s plant for domestic and international markets
Steelbird Hi-Tech, in association with Blauer HT, has launched two new open face helmet models in India. Named the Hacker and Solo, these helmets have been priced at Rs 9,999 which currently makes them the most expensive helmets sold by Steelbird in the country.
The Hacker and Solo comprise of Fibreglass shell which have been developed using balloon moulding technology. For the uninitiated, Fibreglass shells are sturdier and more durable than polycarbonate plastic which is employed in most of the Steelbird helmets. Notably, these helmets will be manufactured according to European standards ‘ECE 22.05’, as opposed to the ISI (Indian Standard Institute)-certified Steelbird helmets.
The Hacker and Solo open face helmets will be available in XS, S, M, L and XL sizes while the available colour options include Black, White and Titanium in matte and gloss finish both. Complete with replaceable inner liners, both Blauer helmet models will be offered with a pair of visors (tinted and clear). You can buy the Hacker and Solo on Steelbird's official website or retail store.
Steelbird had signed an agreement with Blauer HT in July 2018. The latter is one of the well-known helmet brands in America and Europe. According to the agreement between the two, Steelbird will be manufacturing Blauer HT helmets at its facility in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. These products will be sold in India as well as exported to international markets. Steelbird has also tied up with FGF Industry SRL for the worldwide distribution of these helmets.
