Super Soco has launched the CPX electric scooter in Australia with a price tag of AUD 7,690 that converts to Rs 4.34 lakh. The Chinese brand already retails this electric scooter in the European market. The company claims that the deliveries of the CPX will commence in Australia from the end of June 2021.
The electric scooter gets a sharp and stylish design. It comes with a tall windscreen, highlights across its body, a split-type seat, a rectangularish tail section, reflectors on its sides and a rear grab handle which continues to be a rear carrier as well. It further gets features like all LED lights, a fully digital instrument cluster, reverse button, three riding modes, keyless ignition, inbuilt alarm, USB charging port and wheel locking function.
Powering the CPX is a removable Lithium-Ion battery that requires 3-4 hours to fully charge via the fast charger. The scooter gets a range of 75km with one battery. The company also has an optional second battery on offer, and with two batteries the scooter gets a maximum range of 140km. The scooter is propelled by an electric hub motor that lends it a top speed of 95kmph.
Super Soco CPX comes standard with one battery. It is available in three colour options: Sonic Silver, Phantom Black and Titanium Grey. However, the chances of the CPX electric scooter making it to the Indian market are pretty slim.
