Suzuki has unveiled the new GSX-S 950 in Europe. The naked roadster motorcycle is inspired by its bigger sibling the GSX-R1000 and designed for young riders holding the A2 license. The company is offering two variants of the GSX-S 950, A2 and a 93.9bhp variant. Suzuki has started accepting pre-bookings of the bike, and it is priced at Euro 10,399 which converts to Rs 9.2 lakh. While its launch in the Indian market seems highly unlikely, let's take a look at the details of the naked roadster.
Design
The new Suzuki GSX-S 950 gets a sharp and chiselled design. It comes with tank extensions on both sides, underbelly pan, sharp muffler, split-type seat with a grab handle strap and a Suzuki logo on its tank. The bike is offered in three colour options: Metallic Triton Blue, Pearl Brilliant White and Metallic Mat Black.
Features
The naked roadster gets features like all LED lights, a fully digital instrument cluster, ABS and traction control system.
Engine
It's powered by a 999cc four-cylinder liquid-cooled in-line DOHC Euro5 engine. The design of this motor is inspired by its bigger sibling the GSX-R1000. This engine is offered in two versions, 46.9bhp and 93.9bhp.
Hardware
The bike comes with a seat height of 810mm, which allows the rider to put down their feet easily. The rider and pillion seats are stacked independently to provide a more comfortable yet sporty riding posture. The bike also comes with wide handlebars and a metallic finish on the outer tubes of the front fork.
