- 2022 Suzuki Saluto 125 enters Taiwan
- Gets a host of modern features
Suzuki has updated its portfolio by launching the new 2022 edition of the Saluto in Taiwan.
While it looks old-school, the feature list is modern with elements like a keyless ignition system, keyless locking/unlocking mechanism, a USB charging port, and a semi-digital instrument cluster that shows ample data. For added convenience, it also incorporates a multi-function switch for the seat and fuel lid. Further, the lighting setup is also LED.
In contrast to its modern features, the design is retro with sleek body panels, similar to the Vespas. The scooter is available in a choice of two colour options, including Luca Green and Genoa Red. As for the powerplant, the 2022 Saluto runs on a 124cc, air-cooled engine with Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) technology that makes 8.5bhp of power and 9.6Nm of peak torque.
Suzuki won't be launching the Saluto 125 in India, at least not anytime soon. The company already has three 125cc scooters here — Access 125, Burgman Street 125, and Avenis 125.
