- Overall sales stood at 86,750 units

Suzuki Motorcycle India reported its sales data for September 2022. The Indian arm of the Japanese manufacturer recorded the overall sales of 86,750 units in September 2022, registering a year-on-year sales growth of 27.6 per cent over the corresponding month last year.
The company sold 72,012 units in the domestic market and exported 14,738 units in September 2022. Suzuki Motorcycle India said in its press statement that this is the highest ever overall monthly as well as domestic monthly sales figure recorded by the company since its inception in 2006. The cumulative, year-to-date sales (April-September 2022) stood at 4,54,070 units in the period, recording a growth of 25.7 per cent compared to the same period last year.
Speaking about the sales performance, Satoshi Uchida, Managing Director, Suzuki Motorcycle India, said that with the festive season approaching in the country, the company believes there will be improvement in the customer sentiment and that Suzuki Motorcycle India is looking forward to the auspicious festivities in October to continue this sales momentum.
