- Domestic sales grew by 92.8 per cent
- Exports saw 317.7 per cent growth

Suzuki Motorcycle India reported its year-on-year sales data for the month of July 2021. The Indian arm of the Japanese two-wheeler brand sold a total of 73,083 two-wheelers in July 2021, registering a growth of over 112 per cent over the corresponding month last year.
The total sales comprised 60,589 units that were sold in the domestic market and 12,494 units that were exported during the month. The domestic and export sales grew by 92.8 per cent and 317.7 per cent, respectively.
Speaking about the sales, Satoshi Uchida, Managing Director, Suzuki Motorcycle India, said that with the unlock phase in many cities and decline in COVID-19 cases, the company ramped up the production while continuing to follow the detailed operating guidelines.
The company recently updated its product portfolio with the launch of the BS6-compliant Hayabusa in the Indian market. The first batch of the motorcycle, which comprised of 101 units, was sold out within a week of its launch.
