Suzuki has launched a new special edition Let’s scooter, in four new dual-tone paint schemes in Nepal. The stylish paint scheme in the new special edition attempts to improve the style quotient of the scooter and improve its sales in the hill nation. Thanks to the country’s harsh import laws and excise duties, the Let’s is priced in Nepal at Rs 1.0 lakh, as opposed to the Rs 43,222 in the Indian market, ex-showroom Delhi.
The Let’s scooter, like the other Suzuki two-wheelers sold in Nepal, are shipped to the country from India and sold through its official partners, VG Automobiles. This special edition is available in red/white, blue/black, white/black as well as black/blue paint schemes.
Mechanically, the special edition is similar to the standard scooter. It is powered a single-cylinder 113cc engine, which churns out 8.7bhp and 9Nm of torque through a CVT transmission. Suzuki claims that the engine returns good fuel efficiency, thanks to SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance) technology. Suspension duties are taken care of by telescopic forks in the front and swingarm suspension at the rear.
In India, the Let’s was Suzuki’s first 110cc scooter. It competes with the likes of Honda Activa-i, TVS Scooty Zest, Yamaha Ray and the Mahindra Gusto. Check out our comprehensive road test of the Let’s scooter:
