Suzuki Motorcycle India has announced a marginal increase in sales for December 2020.
The manufacturer sold 44,773 motorcycles and scooters in the last month of 2020 as compared to 44,368 units in December 2019. Meanwhile, exports for Suzuki declined by nearly 13 per cent from 7,983 units in December 2019 to 6,946 units in the same month last year. In total, the company sales declined by 1.2 per cent as against December 2019.
However, looking at the last three years, Suzuki’s December sales have remained almost consistent, lurking around the 52,400 units mark. For 2021, the Japanese manufacturer will update its big bike portfolio with motorcycles like the BS6-compliant GSX-S750, GSX-R1000, and even the new V-Strom 1050 XT. What’s more, Suzuki was also spotted testing the electric Burgman Street recently hinting that it could be launched by early 2022 in India.
