- New Suzuki engine patent pics leaked
- 700cc parallel-twin the making
- Likely to hear something this EICMA
Suzuki is one of those companies that doesn’t necessarily have a lot of new motorcycle projects going on. But there is one that is being on for many years and that’s a new parallel-twin engine.
Some patent pictures of a 700cc parallel-twin motor have been leaked online, making us believe that there is a project alive and kicking. However, there are still no information on whether this engine will see the light of the day anytime soon.
This new 700cc motor could be based on the 588cc parallel-twin engine that was showcased in 2013. This motor had a turbo and was likely to generate power almost close to a litre-class. But then came the XE7 project that was unveiled in 2015. This engine too sported a turbo. But since then there have been no developments that was released to the world.
We are expecting Suzuki to finally reveal something at the upcoming 2021 EICMA, at least in some digital formats. But we believe that there’s a new range of middle-weight motorcycle in the making that will help Suzuki take on the growing competitions on the segment.
