Renowned Italian design house, Tecnoart Sersan, has revealed a custom AMG-themed livery for MV Agusta’s newest superbike, the F4 RR. The new livery is a tribute to the association between MV Agusta and Mercedes-Benz owned AMG GmbH, the latter of which recently acquired a 25 per cent stake of the Italian two-wheeler manufacturer.
This AMG-themed F4 RR gets a special paint scheme with a palette consisting of matte chrome, glossy metallic McLaren silver, matte medium grey and loud AMG decals. It is powered by the same 998cc four-pot engine which produces in excess of 200bhp. And while the ‘standard’ F4 RR costs almost EUR 40,000 (Rs 31.20 lakh), your dream to own this special edition might turn out to be even more expensive.
Tecnoart Sersan has had a long association with MV Agusta, the most recent being the Rivale Claudio Castiglioni. The Milan-based design house had unveiled the special edition earlier this year, to honour the father of MV Agusta owner Giovanni Castiglioni.
MV Agusta recently sold a 25 per cent participation stake to Mercedes-AMG GmbH, for a rumoured EUR 30 million. While MV Agusta has a rich racing heritage, its collaboration with AMG, one of the most recognised names in automotive industry, is sure to result in some radical offsprings.
