- Access 125 dominated the Suzuki Motorcycle India’s sales in December 2022

The Suzuki Access 125 continued to dominate the sales chart for the Indian arm of the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer in December 2022. Suzuki Motorcycles India sold a total of 30,228 units of the Access 125 in our market in the last month as against 25,358 units in the corresponding month of 2021. Further, Burgman Street and Avenis took the second and the third spots, respectively in last month’s sales.
Meanwhile, V-Storm SX took the fourth spot with 291 unit sales while the 155cc Gixxer range, which includes the Gixxer roadster and the Gixxer SF, registered just 11 unit sales during December 2022. Moreover, the company sold just eight units of the quarter-litre Gixxer range which includes two models – the Gixxer 250 and the Gixxer SF 250. That’s as many units sold as the company’s flagship motorcycle, the Hayabusa during the same period.

Last month, Suzuki Motorcycles India updated its portfolio with the launch of the Burgman Street EX in our market. This variant of the Burgman Street range benefits from additional features such as the Suzuki Start-Stop system and a 12-inch rear wheel. The EX variant has been launched in three colours – Metallic Matte Platinum Silver No. 2, Metallic Royal Bronze, and Metallic Matte Black No. 2.
