The Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers has released the model-wise sales data for two-wheelers sold in our market. This data comprises model-wise sales for Yamaha MotorIndia and the FZ series dominated the sales of the Indian arm of the Japanese manufacturer.
The company sold 17,262 units of the FZ range in India in February 2023 as against 13,395 units in the corresponding month last year. Meanwhile, the YZF-R15 series secured the second spot with 7,697 unit sales in February this year as against 6,405 units in February 2022. Check out the model-wise sales data in the table below:
While the FZ range and the YZF-R15 witnessed an improvement in year-on-year sales for February 2023, the scooters registered a decline in numbers during the same period. The sales of the Ray series declined from 8,355 units in February 2022 to 4,790 units in February this year. The numbers for Fascino declined from 6,416 units in February 2022 to 3,396 units in February 2023.
