Riding in the rain could be immense fun if done the right way; we have already established this in our previous podcast episodes related to monsoons and motorcycles. We also talked about the appropriate rain riding techniques and different ways to maintain your bike during monsoon. What was left though was to list down the monsoon riding wearables that are most effective in preventing water from reaching your body and keeping you dry on the inside. In the latest episode of the BikeWale Podcast, Anuj and Neil talk on this topic at length and come up with the top five rain gear every biker should have. What to wear while riding in rain | The BikeWale Podcast
There are a host of challenges you may come across while riding in the rain which might dampen the overall joy. One of the most common issues is the helmet visor fogging up due to condensation, thereby reducing visibility and acting as a distraction. And this may turn out to be dangerous for the rider and fellow motorists on the road. Fortunately, there are a host of solutions for this, most of them being affordable.
When it pours down heavily, your boots might also fill up with water if they don’t have appropriate waterproofing and insulation. And riding in soaked boots all day long may give rise to blisters or infestation of bacteria. There are more such issues which may occur if you’re not ready to take on heavy showers while riding your motorcycle. All these problems, along with their solutions, have been covered in detail in the BikeWale Podcast episode mentioned above.
