Top 5 scooters sold in July 2022

July was a decent month for the Indian two-wheeler market. Some brands reported growth in their overall sales while some managed to stay flat. But there were a few brands that reported negative growth in July. Nonetheless, it is time to tell you the top five scooters sold in India last month.

5: TVS NTorq 125 The Ntorq 125 from TVS is possibly one of those scooters that have been growing consistently. Last month, TVS sold a total of 24,367 Ntorq making it the second highest selling 125cc scooter in the country. This sporty scooter has been well accepted by Indian consumers due to its styling, features, and performance from that 125cc engine.

4: Honda Dio The Honda Dio is the fourth highest-selling scooter on the list. Honda sold a total of 36,229 units in July 2022. The primary customers for this scooter are college students and young professionals. This brand has been in the country for a while now and it has managed to build a good recall.

3: Suzuki Access The Suzuki Access has been the highest-selling 125cc scooter for many years now. Last month, the Japanese brand sold 41,440 units and that’s a good sales number. The Access continues to be the no-nonsense and practical scooter that provides some great performance and fuel efficiency.

2: TVS Jupiter The Jupiter from TVS is the second highest-selling scooter in the country. A total of 62,094 units were sold last month and it continues to report good sales month-on-month. The traditional styling, robust 110cc engine, and good service backup make the Jupiter a great scooter to have.

1: Honda Activa The Activa has been ruling the Indian scooter market for decades now. The strong brand recall, the super-refined 110cc engine, and the Honda tags make it the number one choice of Indian consumers. A total of 2,13,807 units of Activa were sold last month.
