The Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers has released the model-wise sales data for two-wheelers sold in our market and the Bajaj Pulsar continued to dominate the numbers for the Pune-based two-wheeler maker. We have divided the sales of the Pulsar brand as per the displacement category, with this series occupying four spots in the top five highest-selling products for Bajaj Auto.
The 125cc Pulsar series led the charts with 48,728 unit sales in February 2023 as against the 30,006 units sold in the corresponding month of last year. The Platina range secured the second spot on this list with 23,923 unit sales in February this year compared to the 29,124 units sold in February 2022. Notably, the year-on-year sales declined for the Platina brand in the month of February 2023. Check out the top five highest-selling Bajaj motorcycles in the table below:
To give you a quick recap, the 125cc Pulsar range comprises the Pulsar 125 and the Pulsar NS125, while the 150cc series includes the Pulsar 150 and the Pulsar P150. The 160cc to 200cc displacement segment includes the Pulsar NS160, Pulsar N160, Pulsar NS200, and Pulsar RS200. The 200cc and above class currently includes the Pulsar N250 and Pulsar F250. Bajaj Auto is expected to re-introduce the Pulsar 220F in the Indian market very soon. This motorcycle, as reported earlier, has already started to reach dealerships in India.
Apart from the Pulsar range, Bajaj Auto also offers the Dominar, Avenger, Platina, and CT series motorcycles in the Indian market.
