- To be delivered to customer’s doorsteps
The Pune-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer, Tork Motors has announced that the deliveries of its Kratos electric motorcycle will commence in Mumbai this Diwali. The e-motorcycles will be delivered to the customer’s doorsteps from Tork’s headquarters in Pune.
The company launched its first electric motorcycle, the Kratos, in January this year and it claims to have received an overwhelming response since the opening of bookings. The motorcycle is available in two variants – standard and R which are different on multiple fronts. While the former makes a peak power output of 7.5kW, the latter produces 9kW. The top speed of the R trim is also slightly higher at 105kmph whereas the standard can touch 100kmph.
The battery range of both variants is the same though. With a 4kWH, IP67-certified, lithium-ion battery pack, the Kratos is claimed to deliver a real-world range of 120km in Eco mode. In City and Sports modes, the range comes down to 100km and 70km, respectively. Tork has also equipped the R trim with fast-charging capabilities and it can be charged up to 80 per cent in an hour.
Tork has priced the Kratos standard and R trims at Rs 1.22 lakh and Rs 1.37 lakh (ex-showroom after subsidy in Maharashtra), respectively, The only real competition it has is the Revolt RV 400 electric motorcycle.
