- Standard trim to be priced at Rs 1,32,499
- R variant to retail for Rs 1,32,499
- New price applicable from 1 January, 2023
Tork Motors, the Pune-based electric two-wheeler startup, has announced that the prices of its electric motorcycle, the Kratos, will witness a hike from 1 January, 2023. This will be a considerable bump of Rs 10,000 on each of the two variants of the bike. Following the hike, the standard trim of the Kratos will cost you Rs 1,32,499 while the higher-spec R version will retail for Rs 1,47,499 (both prices are ex-showroom after subsidy in Maharashtra).
As per the brand’s official release, the sole reason behind this increment is the ever-rising overall input costs. The company says it has been absorbing a major portion of it but the hike has been steep lately which will now reflect in the prices of the electric motorcycle. Notably, this will be the first price hike for Tork’s offerings since their launch in January this year when they were introduced at a promotional price.
In other news, Tork Motors recently introduced its exchange program in association with the used two-wheeler buying and selling platform, CredR. It allows Tork buyers to sell off their old two-wheelers and get their evaluated value deducted from the buying price of the electric motorcycles. Interested buyers can avail of this facility through CredR’s official website.
