Pune-based electric two-wheeler maker, Tork Motors has introduced a new limited-period year-end offer for its electric motorcycle, the Kartos R. The offer entitles new buyers of the e-bike to get monetary benefits worth Rs. 32,500. This includes a flat cash discount of Rs. 22,000 along with a free service package worth Rs. 10,500. The latter includes extended warranty, data charges, periodic service charges and ChargePack. Notably, the offer is valid till tomorrow, 31 December, 2023.
The Tork Kratos R is available in two variants – standard and Urban. While the former is pegged at Rs. 1,87,499, the latter costs Rs. 1,67,499 (both prices are ex-showroom, Mumbai). Let’s check out what you get for that price.
Powering the Kratos’ 7.5kW motor, which produces a maximum torque of 28Nm, is a 4kWH, IP67-certified, lithium-ion battery pack that is claimed to deliver a real-world riding range of 120km. This battery can be charged from zero to 80 per cent in an hour through a fast charger. Moreover, the Kratos R is also impressive in terms of performance with a claimed top speed of 105kmph and a 0-40kmph acceleration time of 3.5 seconds. Further, it is underpinned by a trellis frame that rides on 17-inch wheels suspended by telescopic forks and a monoshock. Braking is handled by a single disc on both ends.
