- The company aims to have 100 stores across India this fiscal year
Pune-based electric two-wheeler maker recently expanded its presence in Gujarat by inaugurating three new showrooms in the state. The company opened two experience zones in Rajkot and one in Ahmedabad. These experience zones will not just sell Tork’s Kratos R electric motorcycle but will also handle after-sales services including retail of spares. Visitors can also take a test ride of the electric motorcycle. Now, the electric two-wheeler maker has a total of four retail stores in Gujarat spread across Surat, Rajkot, and Ahmedabad.
Tork Motors started its innings last year by launching the Kratos R electric motorcycle in India. This was followed by the brand giving the bike multiple updates and introducing the refreshed version at the Auto Expo earlier this year. The e-motorcycle is priced at Rs 1.32 lakh (ex-showroom) and buyers can also choose to finance their purchase with monthly EMIs starting from as low as Rs 3,000. The deliveries of the bike commenced in March this year when Tork delivered 50 units of the bike in Pune.
The specifications of the Kratos R include an axial flux PMSM motor that makes 9kW and 38Nm of torque. It is claimed to deliver a range of about 180km per charge while the top speed stands at 105kmph. The battery pack takes around 4-5 hours to charge completely. Other features of the electric motorcycle include three riding modes (Eco, City, and Sports), regenerative braking, reverse mode, mobile connectivity, USB charging, anti-theft, front storage box, and OTA updates. Meanwhile, the hardware on this electric motorcycle comprises a trellis frame, telescopic front forks, rear mono-shock, and disc brakes on both wheels.
