- Tork T6X electric motorcycle spotted testing in India once again
- Spy video shows the bike in production-ready form
- Likely to be launched soon
Tork Motors had released the teaser video of its first yet-to-be-launched electric motorcycle, the T6X, in May. The company was expected to launch the e-bike in India by the end of this year. While there are no reports about its official launch yet, the T6X has been spotted testing once again and this time it looks ready for production.
A video released on the internet shows the T6X plying on the road, emanating the same deep whining sound which we had heard in the teaser video. Although the test mule was camouflaged, a majority of its styling details were clearly visible. It sports a low-slung headlamp unit, accompanied by a fully-digital instrument cluster on top. The sharp and sculpted fuel tank-like panel along with a high-set tail section lend it a sporty appeal. Furthermore, the flat and wide handlebar along with slightly rear-set footpegs apparently result in a commanding riding position.
Talking about the technical details of the T6X we have so far, it will be powered by a 72Ah lithium-ion battery which reportedly delivers a range of up to 100km. Also, it can be charged to 80 per cent with an hour of charging. Propelling the bike is a 6kW BLDC motor which produces 27Nm of torque while the claimed top speed of the T6X is 100kmph. The e-bike will also be electronically advanced with features such as Bluetooth-enabled display, full-LED lighting and other modern bits.
Considering the frequently emerging spy shots and teaser video of the T6X, we expect Tork Motors to launch the electric bike soon. It is expected to be priced around Rs 1.5 lakhs and will go up against the Revolt RV400 and RV300 electric motorcycles which were launched in India this year.
