Total has introduced a new range of engine oil for two-wheelers in India. Called Hi-Perf, the range starts at Rs 250 per litre for small-capacity scooters going up to Rs 750 per litre for high-performance bikes.
Total claims that Hi-Perf has been developed taking into account our traffic and road conditions. Frequent gear changes, bad road conditions and heavy usage of clutch take a toll on the engine. Hi-Perf protects the engine from this wear and tear by keeping the engine clean and thereby increasing its life. The oil is available in different grades – 10W-30, 20W-40, 10W-50 and 10W-40 to suit different types of two-wheelers.
Total has the distinction of supplying engine oil for the championship winning motorcycle in the 2017 Moto2 championship, ridden by Franco Morbidelli. It made its Indian debut in 1993, and has a network of over 31 depots, 297 distributors and over 40,000 dealers.
