- Triumph to celebrate James Bond’s 60th anniversary
- Launching commemorative version of Speed Triple 1200 RR
- Auctions Scrambler 1200 used in No Time To Die
Triumph is all set to launch the ultra-exclusive James Bond edition of the Speed Triple 1200 RR tomorrow, 4 October 2022. With this iteration of the Speed Triple, the British brand intends to celebrate its association with the iconic James Bond movie series and its 60th anniversary. Notably, this edition of the bike will be available only overseas and not in India.
Triumph’s teaser image doesn’t reveal the name of this special edition model but the silhouette is clearly that of the Speed Triple 1200 RR. While the motorcycle looks gorgeous in its standard form itself, the special edition trim will sport some visual add-ons for further beautification. Expect it to be bestowed with a special paint scheme, different seat, and perhaps 007 decals on certain components. Also, only 60 units of the bike will be produced and each one of them might boast their respective serial number as well.
Besides announcing this limited-edition trim of the Speed Triple, Triumph also auctioned the Scrambler 1200 which was featured in the movie No Time To Die of the James Bond series. The bike was auctioned at an exorbitant price of £138,600 which converts to Rs 1.27 crore.
