Triumph has teased quite an exciting bike that will make its global debut on 3 October. This new motorcycle will be called the TF450 RC and it is their first 450cc motocross motorcycle.
The company has released a few teaser pictures on its official Instagram account. The pics do reveal quite a few details of this motorcycle. Firstly, the name TF450 RC- where RC could be the name of the bike’s technical advisor Ricky Carmichael who is also a motocross legend. This bike also could be like a top-end limited edition model, and there could be more affordable variants in the pipeline.
Currently, there aren’t any technical details of the bike, nor there are any engine performance numbers. But this British bike is likely to go against the Ducati’s Desmo450 MX – a motorcycle that was unveiled a few months ago.
Before the new TF450 RC goes for public sale, the company would at least race it for a year or two in various global competitions. This route will help the company achieve two things – get a lot of info from racing and improve the product and also create a brand value to it easier for the company to sell it in the future.
