- Triumph and Akrapovic to co-develop exhausts
- Will be launched for naked and adventure bikes
- Triumph’s Moto2 engine already uses Akrapovic
Triumph and Akrapovic have come together to set up a new business partnership. Both brands have joined hands to work together and develop new exhausts for Triumph’s adventure and naked bikes.
According to the companies, the primary focus of this alliance is to design and develop new exhaust systems under special projects. The idea behind this association is to offer Triumph customers the most options to choose the best exhausts. These new exhaust systems will be sold through the brand’s accessories line of business. Currently, there are no details on the exact model these companies will be working on. However, there’s a high chance of the Street Triple and the Tiger range getting the first set of exhausts as these brands are the highest-selling bikes for the brand.
Triumph’s upcoming MX bike that will take part in the MX2 World Championship will also be seen with the Akrapovic exhaust. In fact, Triumph has been using these exhaust systems on Moto2 bikes since its debut in 2019.
