CFMoto has launched its latest ADV offering in Europe, the 800MT Explore. It’s based on the existing model from the Chinese bikemaker and here’s what we know about it.
The 800MT Explore features thorough adventure bike cues. It gets a tall and upright riding stance with a butch front portion. The latter houses the LED headlight topped by a transparent visor. CFMoto has also equipped the 800MT with crash guards to safeguard the handlebar, side fairing, and engine as well. Overall, its off-road capabilities have also been enhanced.
The 800MT Explore trim rides on spoked wheels wrapped in block pattern tyres and now gets an updated traction control system. Other features like an eight-inch console and RDS at the rear have also been added. Meanwhile, it continues to draw power from a 799cc twin-cylinder liquid-cooled motor dishing out 90bhp and 75Nm. It’s mated to a six-speed gearbox. The suspension hardware comprises USD front forks and a preload adjustable rear shock. And the braking hardware comes from J.Juan as twin 320mm front and a single 260mm rear disc with ABS.
CFMoto is yet to reveal the asking price for the 800MT Explore Edition. That said, the brand currently offers only a handful of models in India that have witnessed rather poor sales since the launch. So, the 800MT is unlikely to be launched here.
