Triumph Motorcycles unveiled a new Tiger model, the Sport 800. The bike debuted internationally, and here is what it looks like and offers as a package.
The Triumph Tiger Sport 800 borrows its nomenclature and design from the Tiger Sport 660. The bike features a split LED headlight with a pair of LED DRLs in between and is topped by an adjustable visor.
Overall, the bodywork is quite similar to that of the 660, except for the exhaust. The Tiger Sport 800 gets an upswept exhaust, whereas the 660 uses an underbelly setup.
Powering the new Triumph Tiger 800 is a 798cc inline three-cylinder engine that makes 113bhp and 84Nm. It is linked to a six-speed gearbox and gets a bi-directional quickshifter too.
Apart from the quickshifter, Triumph has offered a few more rider aids on the Tiger Sport 800. It boasts three riding modes - road, rain, and sport, cornering ABS, switchable traction control, cruise control, adjustable visor, and LED illumination.
The accessories package lets you add heated grips, TPMS, and a few more accessories at an added cost.
In terms of hardware, the new Tiger gets Showa USD front forks, with adjustable compression and rebound along with a Showa monoshock. Meanwhile, its braking hardware too is premium and comprises dual 310mm front discs and a single 255mm rear disc mounted on 17-inch wheels.
Triumph is offering the Tiger Sport 800 in four colours - Sapphire Black, Caspian Blue, Cosmic Yellow, and Graphite.
