- Triumph to get into enduro, motocross
- Also developing factory racing program
- Official debut in a few months
Triumph Motorcycles has decided to enter the lucrative motocross and enduro segment. The company made an announcement a few hours ago along with the future plans in this segment.
The British brand will develop a new range of competition motocross and enduro bikes. Some of these bikes could make their world debut either this year end or early next year. Along with these bikes, the company will also get into racing. In fact, it is currently in the process of developing new Triumph factory racing program. The company has hired Ricky Carmichael and five-time Enduro World Champion Iván Cervantes to help them with testing the bike and also race prep.
We are quite excited to see Triumph’s new range of dirt bikes. While there’s no market for such bikes in India, we would love the see the company’s Indian arm bring these bikes to India in limited numbers.
