- Triumph Trident to be revealed on 30 October
- Likely to get a 660cc, inline-three engine
- To be launched in 2021
Triumph Motorcycles is all set to globally unveil the Trident on 30 October.
The streetfighter motorcycle will be the most affordable model in Triumph’s stables slotted below the Street Twin. The Trident was shown as a concept a couple of months ago before a near production-ready version was ‘spotted’ testing.
While Triumph hasn’t revealed the official specs, the Trident is expected to be propelled by a 660cc, inline-three cylinder engine derived from the 2020 Street Triple S. The latter’s motor produces 95bhp and 66Nm, so we can expect the Trident to offer similar performance.
Triumph is expected to launch the Trident sometime early next year. And, the motorcycle is likely to make its way to India by the end of 2021 to compete against the Kawasaki Z650 and the upcoming Honda CB650R.
